   Compared to last week, Not enough conventional Slaughter steers for
a market test. Slaughter steers sold in the unconventional or Ethnic
market sold 2.00-3.00 higher on very good demand. SLaughter Holstein
steers not tested. Slaughter heifers not tested. Slaughter cows sold 
steady to 2.00 lower on moderate demand. Slaughter bulls sold 1.00-2.00
lower on moderate demand. Cattle supplies included 136 steers;
199 heifers; 291 cows; 103 bulls; and 110 feeder cattle. All prices
per cwt.

   Slaughter Steers: Ethnic Steers 1200-1750 lbs 109.00-142.00, mostly
   Slaughter Holsteins: Not tested.

   Slaughter Heifers: Not tested.

90-120 lbs 40.00-55.00. Number 3  80-115 lbs 25.00-40.00. Utility  55-
110 lbs 5.00-27.00.
