Midwest Farmers Cooperative has an opening for an Accounting Clerk in Elmwood.  This is a new position within the Energy Division.  This position will have responsibilities in the following functions; accounts receivable transactions, monthly customer billing statements, customer propane orders, annual customer contracts for propane, routing of propane delivery drivers and reconcile delivery tickets, and provide quality professional service to customers in person or over the phone or via mail to resolve customer inquiries. Must have general background knowledge in accounting and various software programs to perform these functions in MFC’s accounting and propane software programs.

Midwest Farmers Cooperative has openings for seasonal harvest positions that will be located throughout the trade territory and will start working ASAPThe successful candidates will unload grain trucks at elevators, bins or flat storage areas; operate elevator equipment; perform routine general maintenance and cleaning of bins and/or elevators and may perform fertilizer preparations for post harvested fields.  High school diploma or equivalent and agriculture background preferred and a valid operator’s license is required.  

Midwest Farmers Cooperative has an opening for a Field Agronomist in Syracuse, NE.  The successful candidate will perform consultation and selling of agronomy products and services by utilizing efficient and effective agronomy practices to improve producer’s crop production while ensuring excellent customer service and standards are met.  This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy or related field and a minimum of five years in agronomy and/or agronomy sales experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Requires a valid Commercial Driver’s License - Class B with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements and current Certified Crop Advisor, CCA, license and/or have the ability to obtain licenses. 

Midwest Farmers Cooperative is hiring Custom Applicators for Syracuse, Elk Creek and Palmyra areas.  The successful candidate will operate spraying machinery to apply fertilizers and chemicals to farmer’s fields.  This position may also perform duties in the seed and grain departments. MFC prefers at least one year of applicator experience OR we will train qualified candidates.  This position requires a valid driver’s license, a Commercial Chemical Applicator’s license and a CDL - Class B with HazMat and Tanker endorsements and/or have the ability to train with MFC to obtain these licenses within 60 working days of employment.
